The photo above is me and my amazing mum. I lost her twenty years ago this March, and she's the reason I understand that not every Mother's Day locket is a celebration - sometimes it's about keeping someone close.

Mother's Day isn't simple for everyone. For some, it's a happy day of breakfast in bed and cards covered in glitter. For others, it's a quiet day. A hard day. A day where you smile through it because that's what you do.

I know both sides of that. And it's one of the reasons I put so much care into every single locket that leaves my workshop around this time of year.

Some of my favourite orders to make are the celebration ones - a locket full of charms that tell the story of a brilliant mum. Her hobbies, her pets, her kids, the things that make her laugh. Those lockets are full of life and I love putting them together.

But just as many orders around Mother's Day are for someone who isn't here anymore. An angel wing. A birthstone. A tiny heart tucked inside a locket that sits close to your own. Those orders mean just as much to me, and I want you to know they're always handled gently.

If you're shopping for Mother's Day this year, here are a few starting points. Browse over 740 memory locket charms to find the ones that tell her story. Add a backplate with a personal engraving - a hidden message just for her. Not sure what to pick? A gift card lets her choose her own charms.

Orders over £40 come with free delivery, and everything is handcrafted here in my Lincoln workshop and posted within 2-3 working days. To be safe for the 15th March, get your order in by Wednesday 11th March.

Whatever Mother's Day looks like for you this year - whether you're celebrating, remembering, or just getting through it - I hope you find a moment of peace in it.
